Known Issue: Designer Sign-up Form Acting “Weird”

May 15th, 2008

UPDATE: This has been fixed

Hello all!

Just wanted to let any new designers signing up know that if you enter your information in the sign-up form and click “refresh” and the page simply reloads - don’t panic! It is a known issue that only seems to occur when you try to sign up using a browser other than IE or Firefox (such as Safari), simply load the page in FireFox or IE and it should work fine.

We are working on this problem and hope to have it fixed ASAP.

Let us know if you have any questions!

    Hi!
I’d like to register as a designer. I browse with Firefox, but always get a message in a pop-up window, and it says that with your certificate is something wrong (I tried also with IE motor within the Firefox, but with the same result).
Many thanks for your answer in advance!

    Hi Tamas,
This is not really a problem on our end. The error you are getting is simply because your system / browser / isp / network is not recognizing the Secure Certificate used to protect that part of the site. The fact that you are getting the error does not mean that the Certificate won’t work.

The certificate is a GoDaddy one and is working fine, if you disregard the message you get you should be fine.

    Thanks!
